Olympus Great Danes

“Sy” (Olympus’ Victory Of Poseidon) won WD at the Butte KC show for 1 pt under Ms. Carmen Haller. It was his first time back in the ring in a year since his eye injury. Thank you to all our friends and family that have supported Sy during the difficult time of recovery. Some of you have been my rock and I’m not sure Sy and I could have gotten through all this without you. Our boy was bred by Bob Santimays and Denise Williams; co-owned by Denise Williams, Bob Santimays and supporting coowners Jayne Peterson & Stephan Sam.
Sy has the best team which includes the named co-owners plus Brittany Williams, Bree Williams, Roger Williams, my mom and dad, and our supportive friends.

“Midas” (Am/Int’l CH. Olympus’ The Midas Touch) kids overseas are still going strong in the ring! Some of the highlights include: “Logan” (Danelyne Look My Way) from the Midas x Taylor litter in Australia, has continued on in her specials career. Her latest wins include another BOB and Group 3! Logan is bred and owned by Vic & Zena Place.

A Midas grandson, Ryan, recently won Challenge Dog and is on his way to his Aus. championship. He is sired by a Midas son and bred/owned by Vic and Zena Place.

“Isis” (Danelyne She’s Got The Look For Tantallon), owned by Inez Cooke in England, has been doing very well in the show ring garnering 2 Challenge Certificates and 3 Reserve Challenge Certificates. One more CC will make her a UK Champion.

Midas and Fanny (Nord CH. Int CH. WJW10 DKV10 DKC11 KBVH12 Maxidane’s Penny Lane) have a beautiful litter in Denmark. The puppies are 8 weeks old now. Bred by Winnie Mertz who takes the cutest puppy photos.

Midas and Poppy (Ch Nerakdane Evanescence for Rydane EJW'09, Jnr Ch, JD) are the parents of an adorable litter of girls in Ireland. They are 2 weeks old. Bred by Clare Ryan and Karen Fitzgerald who also take cute puppy pics.

Midas and Java (CH. Summit View’s Morning Ambition) have a lovely litter in Texas. They are 3 week old. Bred by Norma White and Steve Arnold who also take nice puppy pics, just wish there was more of them.

The specialty was extremely kind to us. Saturday Danu’s Atom Eve “Eve” won Winners Bitch for her second major at 7 months old, and Best Bred By Exhibitor. CH Four Ds RainMaster Explosion at Danu “Trinity” and Ryn earn an AOM and Best Brood Bitch. WindyCity-Orion's Edge of Glory, RA RN CGC “Viola” earned her second RE leg with her Mom Debbie McMurdie. Sunday, Eve took Best in Sweeps and UKC BPIS Danu’s Atomic Hero “Ozzy” Best Opposite in Sweeps with “TaRYNity” bringing home Best Junior in Show and reaching for the stars taking BEST IN SPECIALTY SHOW!

At woodland, Eve takes Winners Bitch and Best of Winners Saturday and Reserve Winners Bitch Sunday. Ozzy takes Back-to-Back Reserve Winners Dog, and TaRYNity picks up Best Opposite Sex and Select for 2 more Grand Championship points. In UKC Eve takes Best of Breed and a Group Four and Ozzy takes Back-to-Back-to-Back Best of Breed and Group Fours gaining his UKC Championship. In Placerville, Ozzy takes Winners Dog. That same weekend, “Betty” Danu’s Atomic Bombshell took Winners Bitch her first weekend out, making ALL three show puppies from “The Atoms Family litter” pointed by 8 months old.

Paradise Great Danes

Voyageur’s Return of the Jedi finished his championship in six straight shows at ten months ownerhandled. Stig is Sean’s son from GCH Daystar Voyageur Gimmie Heaven.

Party, B And K I’m Here for the Party in Paradise went Best In Sweeps at the GDCNC and the next day went WB for 5 points. At the Camellia Capital KC show Dane, B And K Just Another Dane In Paradise took WD and Party took RWB. Patrick took Best Of Breed and Posey took Select bitch.

At the Santa Cruz KC Dane took WD and Party took BOW, and best BBE and a Group three BBE, Patrick took Best Of Breed and Posey took Best Opposite Sex. It was a family event as Patrick and Posey are from Sean’s first litter and Dane and Party are a repeat breeding. Party needs two points to finish.

At Placerville on Sat., Patrick took BOB on the first day and his brother Dane took WD. On Sunday, Posey, Patrick’ sister took BOB and Patrick took SD. Dane again went WD and BOW to his sister, Party, who took her last point to finish her Championship. On Monday Patrick took SD and Party took BOS. It was a weekend filled with fun.

Patrick, GCH B & K Sean’s Grand Slam V. Paradise took 3 Best of Breeds at Gridley and went on to a Group One on Sunday. It was a great weekend but it got to be very hot on Sat. and Sun.

Valinor Great Danes

Valinor Great Danes is proud to announce a new champion. It is now Ch. Valinor’s Stairway to Heaven (Ch. Valinor’s Sothern Rock CND X Valinor’s Pink Martini) owned by Sammy Badkin and Phil Pinheiro. “Zep” was bred by Everett Van Dyken and Jan Purdy.

Valinor-Sanshar Wind In My Sails went WD in Pomona on the Memorial Day weekend. Brody is out of BISS Ch. Cheshire’s Tailor Made V Longo and Ch. Valinor’s Rebel Yell. He was bred by Everett Van Dyken and Paul Picciau and is owned by Sharon Johns.

Double D B & K Icy Hot V Prima ( Isis)

Double D B & K Icy Hot V Prima ( Isis) took WB BOW Saturday April 13th at Cal Expo And repeated WB on Sunday not to mention she was on Good Morning Sacramento advertising the show. Owned by Nancy Bruno and Barbara Kreszyn. Soon her daughter, Prima B & K Going Rogue, will be following in her mom and dads paw prints Sire Ch. B & K I Am The General AKA (Hummer).

Danu’s Atom Eve “Eve” takes Best of Breed at the Dixon Match. At her first AKC show, Eve came out to learn the ropes and came home with a 3 point Major from the Bred by class!

UKC BPIS Danu’s Atomic Hero “Ozzy” takes Best Male and Best opposite Sex at the Dixon Match.

AKC/BIS MBPIS UKC/Int’l CH Four Ds RainMaster Explosion at Danu “Trinity” and Ryn Pevy “TaRYNity” return to AKC Juniors, competing in the Open Intermediate class for the first time, winning the class 3 out of 4 days with stiff competition. Looking good girls!

Danu's Cygnus Nova Explosion of Rome and Roses “Cooper” takes WD for another 2 points singling him out. As always, Owner handled. Gary and Cooper will be out this fall chasing those majors. Congrats Gary, you are a stellar handler and you two make a great team.

B&K I'm Here for the Party in Paradise took a major last Sunday from the 9 to 12 class, owners Barbara Kreszyn and Vince Mulligan. Her littermate B&K Just Another Dane in Paradise took reserve at the same show.

“Midas” (Am/Int’l CH. Olympus’ The Midas Touch) kids overseas are still going strong in the ring! Some of the highlights include:
NEW CHAMPION “Logan” (Danelyne Look My Way) from the Midas x Taylor litter in Australia, finished her championship and also won Best Junior in Show and Best Exhibit in Group! At her next show, she won BOB and Best Junior in Group. Logan is bred and owned by Vic & Zena Place.

The next generation has entered the ring in Australia! A Midas grandson, Ryan, went to his first show and won BOB Puppy and Best Baby in Group. He is sired by a Midas son and bred/owned by Vic and Zena Place.

“Isis” (Danelyne She’s Got The Look For Tantallon), owned by Inez Cooke in England, won Reserve Challenge Bitch at the prestigious Northern Great Dane Championship show. She was entered in Crufts, but unfortunately, was injured just before the show and had to pull. Hoping for a full recovery.

Valinor Great Danes

A new champion for Ch. Valinor’s Southern Rock CND. Bubba’s son is now Ch. OVD Sir Gustav O’Galloway. “Gus” was finished at the Missouri shows and is owned by Linda Stevens.

Bubba’s daughter, Valinor’s Stairway to Heaven “Zeppy” took a major at the Seattle Kennel Club and then took BOS at the Albany shows today. Zep is out of Bubba and Valinor’s Pink Martini. She is owned by Sammy Badkin and Phil Pinheiro.

Paradise Danes

Patrick (Ch. B & K Sean’s Grand Slam V Paradise) went to Portland to start his show career after finishing at a young age of 9 ½ months. He is now just 2 and took Select at one of the Specialties. The next day he took BOB over 15 Specials. He then got pulled in Group. He took Select again the next day. What a great weekend.

His repeat breeding sister, Party (B& K I’m Here for the Party in Paradise) at 9 months took Best In Sweeps and Best Puppy at the Specialty and was pulled for the points. She continued to take first in a class of 6 every day except for 2 shows.

Her brother, Dane (B & K Just Another Dane In Paradise) took 1st half of the time.

Tered-DBM Great Danes

Tered-DBM Great Danes is very proud of our boy "Rio" GCH Sasdania-Vitag's Deal No Deal Alto Gavea AOM CGC who went Best of Breed on Friday at the Rose City Classic Show up in Portland. He also was Select Dog at the Specialty Show earlier that week. Other notables from the same cluster was a BOS in Sweeps for Wilbur and a 5pt major reserve for Major.

We are pleased to announce that Rio's win in Portland placed him tied for #12 in the Top 25 and #13 in All-breed!!!

At a previous show, she won Best Exhibit in Group and Best Puppy In Show! Logan is bred and owned by Vic & Zena Place.

“Isis” (Danelyne She’s Got The Look For Tantallon), owned by Inez Cooke in England, has still been winning big. Her latest victory was winning the Junior Stakes. Isis will be shown at Crufts next month! There are over 130 danes entered. Goooo baby Isis! We’ll be rooting for you!

Midas has a new litter of puppies born in Rome, Italy, bred by Emiliano Gentili. 2 fawn males and 1 fawn female. We are looking forward to watching them grow!

We went down to visit friends on January 5th and then attended the Palm Springs Kennel Club show on Sunday. Valinor’s Dance Little Sister (Ch. Valinor’s Southern Rock CND X Valinor’s Pink Martini) went Best Bred by Exhibitor under Nikki Rigsbee. “Sara” took a reserve under Bert Rettick at the Sun Maid Kennel show on February 2. She was bred by Jan Purdy and Everett Van Dyken and is owned by Everett and Paul Picciau.

At her third show our “Joey” went Best of Bred out of the 6-9 month class at the Sun Maid Kennel Club under Polly Smith. She is officially known as Valinor’s J Bonnamassa (BISS Ch. Cheshire’s Tailor Made V Longo X Ch. Valinor’s Rebel Yell) and was bred by Everett and Paul Picciau. Joey is owned by Everett and Lorrie Spencer
